Hello Judson Jaguars! My name is Wish Hardeway and I am your 6th grade counselor for the 2023 – 2024 school year. I have a passion for empowering students and fostering their holistic development. My commitment to nurturing the academic, social, and emotional growth of students has been the driving force throughout my career. With deep commitment to guiding students towards well- being and success, I am an experienced school counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Associate.
Throughout my career as a school counselor, I have the privilege of working with diverse student populations across various grade levels. My expertise spans from elementary to high school, allowing me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each age group. Over the years, I have successfully guided students through academic challenges, emotional struggles, and personal growth.
I firmly believe that every student has the potential to thrive when provided with the right guidance and support. My counseling philosophy centers around building strong, trusting relationships with students, creating a safe space for them to express themselves, and assisting them in setting and achieving their academic and personal goals.
Empowering students to overcome challenges and reach their full potential is not just my profession – it's my calling. Shontoya White
My name is Shontoya White. I am a School Counselor at Judson Middle School. I oversee students with the last names between P-Z (6th grade – 8th grade).
I attended Ashford University where I achieved my Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management. I furthered my education by obtaining my Master of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University.
I have been in the field of education for over 16 years and have a passion for working with students to help them become lifelong learners in an ever-changing world. As a part of the counseling team at Judson Middle School, I want to do my best to support our student’s academic and social/emotional needs as well as their career goals.
